there was an error :
"Subscript Out of range" and when i debug it, it highlights this line: "strMeaning(intCount) = strItems(1)"
But i should thank u because more than the dictionary i needed the codes to find out how should i solve my problem.

Thank you soooo much. I don't know why I was having so much trouble with that. Couldn't seem to get it into my old, thick head, I guess. What you wrote made it seem simple(er!) and at least comprehensible. Even the "For Dummies" book I bought wasn't that clear. To me, at least.

Copied and pasted what you wrote to txt file so I can study it if, God forbid, the post here disappears on me.
